Baroli is a place famous for holding the famous 9th century temples. One of the most famous temples is that of Ghateshwara temple. All of these temples are famous for their craftsmanship, sculptures and carvings. Some of these temples and their sculptures were damaged by the Muslim armies.
Baroli is famous for its calm and serene ambience. It is believed that different Gods come to reside here. Apart from the pious and peaceful surroundings, Baroli is also admired for its marvelous architecture and exquisite carvings and sculptures.
Attractions of Baroli
The main attraction of Baroli is the Ghateshwara temple which has the famous idol of Natraja, along with beautiful and extrinsic carvings. Although some of the sculptures of the temple are destroyed, it is still the best preserved temple. The other famous temples in Baroli are Mahishasuramardini temple of Goddess Durga and Trimurti temples. Both of these are situated near Ghateshwara temple and are in existence since 10th century.

Baroli is located at a distance of 45 km to the south-west of Kota, a famous city of Rajasthan.

- Brij Vilas Palace Museum: Located in Kota, this museum is famous for storing the age old sculptures from Ghateshwara temple of Baroli.
- Kansuan Temple: Located at a distance of 10 km from Kota, the temple consists of Shivalinga and was built in 738 AD.
