Indian Coral Tree is spreading tree with dark red colored beautiful flowers. The flowers being ornamental have been described as one of the gems of the floral world. These flowers highly attract the hummingbirds and make the garden look special. The flowers look more majestic due to their spreading crown.
Indian Coral Tree grows in different colors such as red and white. The tree grows to the height of 40 to 60 feet and 20 to 40 feet wide. The stout branches have black tiger’s claw spines. There are curved and pricklier spines on the long leaf stalks. The pods are bean like and are 15 in long with reddish brown seeds.
