Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park, the wild life paradise, is situated in the Jubilee Hill region of Hyderabad. The park commands a total area of more than 345 acres that is filled with flora and fauna. There are over 130 kinds of rare bird species, 20 types of reptiles and 25 mammal species in the vast park land. Dangerous jungle cats, wild jungle boars, deadly snakes, rabbits, mongooses, civets, partridges, peacocks and fowls live in unison, sharing the park area. Tourists from all over the globe make it a point to visit the Brahmananda Park when they are on an Indian holiday.

Kasu Brahmananda Reddy national Park is house to more than five hundred kinds of birds and animal species. This majestic park land is a delight to adventurers, environmentalists and animal lovers. It is one of the main tourist attractions of Andhra Pradesh State and houses the famous Chiran Palace of royal Nizam dynasty. The park is open to visitors 2 hours in the morning, from 6.00 to 8.00 and in the evening, from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

Attractions of Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park:
This beautiful park land was established in the year 1994, to protect the ecology of the area. The park is named after one of the former CM of the State. The main attractions are the dense forests, wild life species and the Chiran Palace. The park is home to almost 600 kinds of plants includeing gigantic trees to shrubs, herbs, grasses and other types of vegetations. The place is a virtual natural haven and can be visited any time of the year.

  • By Train: Tourists can catch a train and alight at Secunderabad to reach the park.

  • By Air: You can reach the National park via aerial route, the nearest airport being the Begumpet airport at Hyderabad.
